Released strictly to British television in 1977, the movie had decent ratings and was rerun for a few years.
Like many obscure made for television films, Hunchback has yet to be released on home video. Neither dvd or bluray. To my knowledge, it's not even on VHS (Excluding bootlegs of coarse).
That's how I'll be watching this one. A bootleg that was uploaded to YouTube during the winter of 2008 by Hugosnotredame.
Because of its obscurity, information regarding this adaptation is fairly scarce, and I apologize for that. That's just how things turned out.
